Activities

  • Environmental scan
    On an ongoing basis, the Portal takes inventory of existing scientific knowledge that addresses the issues of healthy public policy and the assessment of public policy on health (Health Impact Assessment concept).
  • Database
    The Portal offers a database, which allows for the consultation of publications (studies, research reports, articles, working documents, etc.). These documents are summarized and organised by category. A search engine as well as a themes index are available for internal enquiries.
  • Electronic newsletter
    The Portal distributes an electronic newsletter that provides information on relevant new publications and on upcoming events of interest. This free newsletter is sent to subscribers on a bi-monthly basis.
  • Electronic links
    This website offers a range of links to documentation, tools, and organizations and groups who share an interest in healthy public policy, as well as in assessing the impact of public policy on health.
  • Resource directory
    The Portal provides a directory of key people who can contribute to the development of healthy public policy.
