ABOUT THIS SITE

Partnerships

The ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux (MSSS) is responsible for the application of section 54 of the Public Health Act. The MSSS is both an active partner in the portal’s evolution and one of the main users of its products and resources.

The Fonds québécois de recherche sur la société et la culture (FQRSC) and the Fonds de recherche en santé du Québec (FRSQ) are also involved in the application of section 54. Together with the MSSS, these funding agencies have created the Programme de recherche sur les politiques publiques favorables à la santé et au bien-être (Research program on healthy public policy). The research results of groups who have participated in this program, such as the Groupe d'étude sur les politiques publiques et la santé (GÉPPS), may be featured on this site.

GLS Réseaux is a consulting firm, which provides organizations with research, environmental scans, and knowledge management services. This partner assumes the largest part of the “scan” component of the portal, by producing and disseminating the electronic newsletter. It also contributes to the portal’s database.

The National Collaborating Centre for Healthy Public Policy (NCCHPP) is responsible for the English version of the Portal and its newsletter. Part of the Institut national de santé publique du Québec (INSPQ), this Centre’s objective is to increase the expertise of public health practitioners and partners in the area of healthy public policy.
