Healthy public policy and health impact assessment are themes that are drawing increasing levels of interest in Quebec, resulting in various symposiums and scientific activities:

The Groupe d’étude sur les politiques publiques et la santé (GÉPPS), together with the Institut national de santé publique du Québec and the National Collaborating Centre for Healthy Public Policy organized a two-day symposium. This event was held on October 26 and 27, 2006 as part of the 10th edition of the Journées annuelles de santé publique.
